Don’t worry - we’ve got you covered!

First of all, let us think outside the box for you. Don’t just go for a flower crown workshop or a life drawing class for your hen do. You can combine crafty, artistic creative working with your hands with a little bit of naughtiness, and go for our booby-pot hen do workshops.

We operate from three locations in Brighton, and offer workshops for any size group.

Best places to drink in Brighton:

You want to eat something delicious, right? And you want to get tipsy somewhere that isn’t right next to all those drunken stag dos? Us too! Here’s where to go:

First of all, you can drink and eat in our two partner venues:
The Brighton Cocktail Company in Seven Dials, and
The Twisted Lanes cocktail bar on Duke Street

For a really tucked-away hidden treasure, our absolute favourite after-dark cocktail bar is The Plotting Parlour, but it’s so tiny you’ll need to book in advance!

If you’re by the sea anyway, walk a little further to The Fortune of War. It’s where we locals go (particularly during a storm!), though it does get busy on a sunny Saturday.
Best places to eat in Brighton:

For food, as long as your group isn’t truly enormous, you should try to stay in the North Laine area.
Iydea on Kensington Gardens is great for a veggie treat, particularly if you’re in a hurry.
And if you want to go veggie but sit down then Planet India is another great place that we locals absolutely love! Book in advance at the weekends though!

If you want somewhere big, with a bit of atmosphere but in the centre you could do worse than The Mesmerist, which does food, booze and cocktails, and usually has live music at weekends.
Free things to do in Brighton:

If you go for a walk along the pier, don’t forget to walk behind the rides at the back (where it says you shouldn’t go!) for the best views of Brighton that there are!

If it’s sunny, a walk along the seafront, all the way to the peace statue (the big angel) in Hove is genuinely lovely, and if you feel the need to justify it you could always have a picnic on Hove Lawns at the end! Finish off by looking for hag stones or sea glass on the beach, or if you’re feeling really brave, try a swim!

A walk through North Laine is always fun. Don’t miss the classic Snooper’s Paradise on Kensington Gardens, or the flea market (including the indoor one) on Upper Gardner Street.

If it’s rainy then you can’t get much more quirky and kooky than the thousands of taxidermy birds at the Booth Museum.
And finally, if you splash out a tiny bit more than nothing then the crazy golf at the end of the playground past Yellow Wave is much better than the one nearer the pier!

Have fun you crazy hens, and always ask us if you need any local help or advice! xxx
